To be granted an EU Blue Card, you must have a university degree or five years&#8217; professional experience and your salary must be at least the equivalent of one and a half times the average gross salary in Sweden. This requirement is stated in the Aliens Act, Chapter 6 a \u00a7 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">For 2014, the salary threshold is 45.900 SEK per month.
